Munich: Bayern Munich have accepted Borussia Dortmund's refusal to receive flowers for their coach Jurgen Klopp prior to the two sides' DFB-Pokal semi-final tie on Tuesday.

Bayern had wanted to hand over a bouquet of flowers to Klopp in recognition of the work he has done for the club.

"(Dortmund general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke) has told me that he would not like the air of battle to be interrupted by the flowers, and I respect that," said Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge on sport1.de.
"So we will give him the flowers after the game."
