"The Leftovers" actor shared that planning the secret wedding to the 'Cake' actress was very stressful, explaining that keeping it under tight wraps took the fun out of prepping for the big day.

"I wouldn't say it was fun to plan. Part of the fun of planning a wedding is telling people and we had to keep it under wraps," New York Daily News quoted Theroux as saying, reported aceshowbiz.com.

After the wedding got over and the cat was out of the bag, the 44-year-old actor said: "I noticed it almost immediately, it was like your blood pressure goes down two PSI (Pounds per square inch). It's not like life is completely different. It's a beautiful thing."

Aniston and Theroux married at their Bel Air estate on August 5, five days before his birthday.

Actress Courteney Cox served as the maid of honour, while international comedian and host Jimmy Kimmel officiated the ceremony. After their wedding, the couple headed to Bora Bora for honeymoon.
