Juventus' online shop went down yesterday just hours after the Italian club released its new line of jerseys with the number seven and the name of its latest signing, Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who has completed a $131.46 million transfer from Real Madrid.
Ronaldo, 33, who spent nine years with the Spanish powerhouse, is to retain the number 7 at the Turin-based side, which has won seven consecutive Serie A titles, reports Efe. Although the Juventus online shop was down for the duration yesterday morning, fans were still able to go to official stores in Turin to pick up their brand new shirts.
