Amidst the after-effects of the recent political strife in the region, Kabir Khan has landed in Beirut for a location recce of his next film starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif. The film’s cast will be joining the rest of the crew there in a day or two. The first schedule of the film is set to take off from October 20 onwards.

The film has been tentatively titled Daniyal Khan.

Says an insider, “A lot of thought went behind finalising the location, because of the recent political turmoil in the region. However, Kabir was firm about going ahead with the shoot there.”

A unit member tells us that adequate security cover will be provided to the stars there.

Like his previous film, this movie has a terror backdrop as well with Saif playing a secret agent while Kat plays his love interest.

Since landing in Beirut, the director has been posting picturesque snapshots of Lebanon.

The source adds, “Kabir ans his team have been on top of the situations — confirming everything from the security cover to the most minor problems before the cast arrives.”

Katrina, who is in New York, is expected to head to Beirut directly to join the rest of the team.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala remained unavailable for comment.u00a0
