In September this year, Kailash Kher released the single, Jai Jai Kedara, featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Suresh Wadkar, Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, Babul Supriyo, Hema Malini and Prasoon Joshi. He is back with another track dedicated to the country.

Arey Veeron, Sainikon, Bharat Ke Saputon is a tribute to the Indian Army, written and composed by Kailash, and is currently being developed by his band, Kailasa. "Whenever the country is in trouble, our jawans put their life on the line. So many soldiers have lost their lives recently.

This is a homage to them," says Kailash, who plans to release the track on Republic Day. He hopes Modi will grace the launch. "We have already connected with the PMO," he shares.

Will the track be accompanied by an inspirational video? "Yes, but we'd like to feature Army officers at the border instead of casting actors. We had planned to travel to Jaisalmer and Kashmir for the shoot, but given the tense situation up North, we have decided to wait before seeking permissions."
