On November 16, Rangoli Chandel took to Twitter to share the news of giving birth to a baby boy. She wrote, "Dear friends meet our son Prithvi Raj Chandel... My little munchkin"

In 2011, Rangoli tied the knot with her childhood love Ajay Chandel in Delhi. And naturally, my parents and the entire family are overjoyed!" The National Award-winning actress was always by Rangoli's side during her pregnancy, taking care of her.

During her pregnancy, Rangoli, who also manages Kangana's work, took a break from her work and therefore wasn't seen with Kangana, which flamed rumours of a rift between the two sisters. "I have been by Kangana's side ever since she started off as an actress. She has not only supported us but has also made our careers. I have taken a break from work since I am pregnant and have been advised bed rest," Rangoli had said earlier.
