McLaren's F1 ace Lewis Hamilton yesterday said that move to Sahara Force India for Narain Karthikeyan could do wonders for him and the country
"It is unfortunate that Narain is driving a slow car. It would do wonders if he were in Force India which is a pretty good team. It would be a good stepping stone for him,” Hamilton here yesterday when asked about HRT’s Indian driver.

Karthikeyan’s best finish this year was 15th at the Monaco GP. “I am a Brit driving for a British team in a British car and it has done wonders for us so I hope it would be the same for him and India,” added Hamilton, who will replace the retiring Michael Schumacher at the Mercedes GP team next year.
The Briton admitted it will be tough to take over the steering from seven-time world champion Schumi.
“I have huge shoes to fill in at Mercedes and it will be difficult. I grew up watching Michael on TV and win all the titles. When I made my debut in 2007, I was upset that I never got a chance to race Schumacher as he retired at the end of 2006. It was surreal for me when he came back to racing in 2010,” said Hamilton.
