Kevin Pietersen set for annual contract: Andy Flower

Kevin Pietersen is set to commute his temporary England and Wales Cricket Board central contract into a full annual deal

He signed a four-month contract in September to allow him to take part after all in the Test tour to India.

Kevin Pietersen yesterday posted his picture on Twitter asking his followers whether the year 2012 deserves a spot on his arm, especially after their historic Test series win in India. The years 2005, 2009 and 2010-11 are already inked

The extension of that arrangement, due towards the end of England’s one-day international trip back to India next month, was dependent on the ongoing success of his “reintegration”.

“The contract won’t be a problem,” said team director Andy Flower. “Kevin has been excellent in every way.”
