Various Kingfisher employees yesterday staged a silent protest before the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) vs Mumbai Indians Indian Premier League match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium

RCB is owned by Vijay Mallya. Protesters, who claimed they had not been paid their salaries for several months included pilots, engineers, ground staff and cabin crew.

They gathered in front of a statue of Mahatma Gandhi and protested. “The police asked us to come to the station, took down our names and requested us not to gather without permission before letting us go,” a protester said, according to PTI.u00a0
