Conceding that momentum was not with them after two consecutive losses, defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) hope to turn things around in their next encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday.
“It’s pretty difficult; the momentum is not with us at the moment. We obviously take a bit of confidence from what we did last year. We were in a similar position after getting off to a slow start but turned it around. Hopefully, we’ll do the same again tomorrow,” KKR batsman Eoin Morgan said here on Saturday.
Observing that the Eden Gardens pitch will suit spinners, Morgan said the team was looking to offie Sunil Narine for another stellar show. Narine, who played a crucial role in KKR winning their maiden title last year claiming 24 wickets, has been in top form taking six scalps from three matches so far.
