Producing documents of the Bangalore Development Authority to support his charge, B J Puttaswamy, political secretary to Yeddyurappa, said that Vimala and another relative Radhamma had been allotted 'G' category sites here by Kumaraswamy, when he was the Chief Minister.
"Kumaraswamy was saying he was transparent (during his tenure) and did not indulge in favouritism," Puttaswamy said, and demanded that the BDA initiate steps to take into its possession the two sites, noting that the two women had filed false affidavits that they did not own house.
He also alleged six more close relatives of Kumaraswamy, and his personal assistant were allotted 'G' category sites during his tenure. One of the relatives got two sites, claimed Puttaswamy.
Referring to corruption charges levelled against Yeddyurappa by Kumaraswamy and Congress leader Siddaramaiah, Puttaswamy said that no commission of inquiry had held the Chief Minister guilty.
"They are levelling allegations because of fear of losing the existence of the Congress and the JD(S)," he said.
