Starting today, 14 acts will commence their performances. Opening the city segment will be the Raghu Dixit Project, a regular on the Independent music scene. Dixit will re-acquaint his brand of Indian folk with elements of Western Rock, Arabic, Latin and Reggae to audiences.

Fellow act for the day are Norwegian musicians Mari Kvien Brunvoll and Stein Urheim who promise a fine mix of Jazz with dance-like strains. You might also want to catch French Reunion Isle-artiste Stephanie Thazar whose mellifluous vocals blend a bit of her French, African, Chinese and Indian influences, which pepper her unique sound.

Shillong-based band Soulmate will add a Northeastern flavour to the festival with their brand of Blues, Blues-Rock, Soul, Rock n' Roll and R&B. Enter into Motherjane's chamber for head-banging music. Other performances to look forward to include Electro group Mathias Stubo Band, Delhi Sultanate's mash of Dancehall and Hip-Hop.

KK, Parikrama and Jalebee Cartel. Check out visual/Electronica duo of B.L.O.T (Basic Love Of Things), as well as sounds from Dancefloor-Electronica guru Mimetic who will wrap up proceedings towards the end of this celebration of music.
