Michael Douglas has revealed that the role of the late 'Liberace' in the upcoming movie 'Behind the Candelabra' was a beautiful gift because he got it just after his struggle with stage-four throat cancer.

The ‘Basic Instinct’ star thanked director Steven Soderbergh for giving him a chance to portray the role of the late pianist in the movie, Us magazine reported.
