American skiing champion Lindsey Vonn has criticised US President Donald Trump. Ahead of Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang this February, Vonn stressed that she was representing her countrymen at the Games and not the president. "Well, I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president," Vonn, 33, who is in St Moritz, Switzerland, told CNN's Alpine Edge.

"I take the Olympics very seriously and what they mean and what they represent, what walking under our flag means in the opening ceremony. I want to represent our country well.
"I don't think that there are a lot of people currently in our government that do that," added Vonn, who is eyeing her second Olympic gold medal at the South Korea Games.
