US ski champ Lindsey does not use the washroom on a flight in order to stay healthy
America's champion skier Lindsey Vonn, 33, literally lives out of a suitcase as her job requires her to travel eight months in a year, hopping from one flight to another. In order to stay healthy on a plane, Vonn has created a set of rules from which she never deviates. In an interview to US lifestyle website Well+Good, Vonn revealed that she never uses the toilet in the flight. "I try not to use the bathroom on the airplane at all costs. It's very difficult, but you just hold it in. This phobia came from a friend who's a nurse and she was telling me all the different bacterias in the airplane bathroom, and it freaked me out," said the ski champ.

She added that the toughest challenge for her while traveling is food, which is why she always packs her own meals. "I have chicken and rice, may be a banana. I get dehydrated pretty quickly, so it's important for me to just keep drinking," said Vonn, whose favourite product for the plane is a hand sanitiser. Also, since she feels cold on flights, she prefers to wear tops with high collars to keep her neck warm.
