Live the horror show

With the bloodcurdling night to look forward to, The GUIDE recommends Bandra Base's unnerving Horror Film Festival that will include what you do to what you look and even what you eat

Live the horror show

Jeepers Creepers is the theme today. You might be sitting in your pyjamas with the sun shining through but trust this night out to be a spine-chilling one. And, the perfect recipe to get that gooseflesh is through horror movies. The recently formed Groupies, a platform that encourages interaction, participation and engagement of Mumbaiites, within the city, has gone out on a limb to set you up for a cracker of a night. The Horror Film Festival will be screening a bevy of spoofs, trailers, spoof-trailers and animations from San Francisco’s Spike and Mike’s Sick and Twisted Festival.

Romy Angevin will be doing similar makeup at the event

Though innovative costumes is the trick (costume will make you shell out less, by the way), Romy Angevin, a French special effects makeup artist can make you cackle and gruff through a variety of eerie visages. The food platter too will be stocked with gore-y matter that will make you feel in league with the devil. Binge on Cheesy Witches Fingers, Dark and Gooey Pasta Salad, and Pumpkin Bread and wash it with the non-alcoholic Dracula Punch. With 15 short films from India, US and UK, it’s time to get the garb on and drink some blood.

On Today, 8 pm to 10 pm
At Bandra Base, 29th Road, Bandra (W).
