Lokhandwala Foundation School (Kandivli) defended their Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) Talyarkhan Challenge Cup throwball title with a 25-14, 25-23 win over Queen Mary School (Grant Road) at Azad Maidan yesterday

The Kandivli school's Simran Labh was the highest scorer with 15 points. The Class X student said, "We couldn't have asked for a better way of passing out of school. This is our sixth consecutive title."

Meanwhile, Gopal Sharma Memorial (Powai) emerged champions in the boys' U-16 section.
