Love music and intimate indie music gigs? Head to Folk Sessions With Sri #3 ft. Osvy at Pitaara – The Art Box. This session is all about artistes playing their own material. Folk Sessions With Sri is an original indie music gig series started by Srijit Bhowmick (Sri) in January last year.

In this third edition, Sri will perform with Osvy (aka Hrushabh), a sound engineer for an indie music podcast called Maed In India. "We met for the first time at an open mic last summer. He mentioned he was also into music production and we worked together on one song, but the video to be released didn’t happen. I had a good working relationship with him and thought of inviting him over," says Sri.
The previous editions of the gig saw acts by amateur singer-songwriters. Osvy brings with him more guitar-driven songwriting and lyrical themes that deal with expressions of his thoughts and feelings. "I think my music is a bit more rusty and aggressive in terms of the sound and Sri has this whole mellow thing going on, so I guess that’s the different stuff I’ll be bringing to the gig," says Osvy.
Pitaara is a well-known venue for independent artistes. "The venue folks have been extremely welcoming and I couldn’t appreciate their love for independent art enough," says Sri.
