Seventeen top class three-year-old fillies will face the starter for the New Hope Indian 1000 Guineas (Gr 1), the first of the four Classics of the current Mumbai season which features a rich purse of close to Rs six million as total stakes money. The winner will take home a cool Rs 3.5 million, and Maisha, trained by Pesi Shroff and to be ridden by jockey S Zervan, is fancied to bag the winner's prize.
