Makrand Deshpande plans to stage his play 'Sir Sir Sarla' again
We bumped into Makrand Deshpande with some theatre artistes at a restaurant at Juhu Scheme the other night
Apart from planning a film, the director-actor is also revisiting his play 'Sir Sir Sarla' which he had staged in two parts about seven years ago.
The drama dealt with the relationship between a teacher (Makrand), and his two students (played by filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and Sonali Kulkarni). The maverick Mak plans to stage it for the Prithvi Theatre festival next month with a fresh cast.
