Malala continues to make satisfactory progress: Doctors
Pakistani teenage rights activist Malala Yousafzai, shot in the head by the Taliban, continues to make satisfactory progress, the doctors have said.
"Malala continues to make satisfactory progress at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. The medical team supervising her care described her condition as comfortable and stable," the hospital said in a statement yesterday.
Malala and two schoolmates were shot by the Taliban in her hometown of Mingora in the Swat Valley. She was targeted because she spoke out against the Taliban and campaigned for girls' education.
