The National Investigation Agency (NIA) file a chargesheet on Monday against the four Malwani youths who fled home to join the Islamic State terror group. The NIA said one of them was planning to kill Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha leader Kamlesh Tiwari.
The four accused — two arrested (Rizwan Ahmed and Mohsin Ibrahim Sayyed) and two absconding (Ayaz Mohammed and Yusuf Al Hindi alias Shafi Armar) — listed in the chargesheet are booked for conspiracy and relevant sections of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

The chargesheet revealed that Mohsin (27), had planned to murder Tiwari while instigating other youths to accompany him into joining ISIS. Ayaz (24) had also tried to recruit youths into the terror group and discussed his plan to get into Afghanistan with them but one by one they backed out. He had also undergone physical training in Jammu & Kashmir in March 2015.
While applying for visa to Afghanistan, Ayaz had posed as a freelance photographer who wished to tour the country for a few days. While leaving, he told his sister about his plan to go to Iraq and later, he sent her pictures of himself holding a gun there.
Though others were involved in radicalizing youths, Rizwan arranged accommodation for an ISIS supporter in Goa when asked by chief recruiter of ISIS in India Yusuf Al Hindi.
NIA said Yusuf also took to social networking websites like Facebook, Trillian, WeChat, Whatsapp, Surespot, Telegram etc to radicalise young Muslim youths from Malwani area to join ISIS.
