The site was founded less than a year ago by entrepreneurs Rahul Anand and Lisa Kennedy, who were both colleagues at Diapers(.com), an online baby apparel website in USA. It was Anand’s vision to bring this much-needed concept to India. “When I lived in New York, I noticed that many Indian moms travelled abroad to shop because there was a huge lack of access to global brands,” says Anand.
The site offers products such as maternity wear, intelligent toys, safe sleep sacks, room organisers and baby carriers from 50 brands, including Petit Bateau, StorkSak, Juicy Couture Baby, Kicky Pants, Melissa & Doug, 3 Sprouts, ErgoBaby, Zutano, HALO, Skip Hop, L’oved Baby, Stephen Joseph and Jojo Maman Bebe.
Recently introduced on the site are Juicy Couture, Ralph Lauren and Osh Kosh. “Every day, we launch new boutiques with limited quantities of the current season’s products from our brand partners. The online boutiques last for four to five days,” adds Anand.
