Mamata knows why Sachin didn't score 100th ton in Eden

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, who gave away the Man of the Match award to VVS Laxman at Eden Gardens yesterday, shared some light moments with Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

After she had congratulated each and every member of the series-winning Indian team, Banerjee went up to Tendulkar and said, in jest: "I know why you have not scored your 100th international century at the Eden.

You have kept it for your hometown Mumbai (venue for the third and final Test)." She then turned to Dhoni and said: "You have come to my state. This victory is mine as much as yours."
