Four unidentified men robbed a man at Marine Drive and threatened him with dire consequences before fleeing with valuables worth Rs 55 lakh on Monday evening
The incident occurred near Khetwadi guesthouse, when the victim, Bhaskar More, was travelling with his colleague Agarwal in a car. More, who works as an office assistant, was carrying a black briefcase with Rs 55 lakh in cash. He got down at the location and started walking towards Shruti hotel located at Bhuleshwar to deliver the money as directed by Agarwal, when four men attacked him and threatened to kill him.
Along with the briefcase, these men robbed his wallet containing Rs 5,000 in cash, a gold chain and ATM cards. The total valuation of stolen goods is Rs 55,19,000. Police officials are on the lookout to nab the four unknown men and an investigation has been initiated. u00a0
