The 24-year-old Italy international, who joined Liverpool from AC Milan last summer, proposed to the 22-year-old during the World Cup in Brazil in 2014 and she was seen in the stands supporting her then lover.

However, the couple split shortly after he made the move to Merseyside last August. Neguesha returned the engagement ring after he demanded she quit modelling.

Neguesha however, may have given the indication that she did not want to shut the door completely on Balotelli, when she had said in one of her post-break up interviews that she would be there for the Italian whenever he needed her.

Will be there for you
"If you have loved someone, you can't hate him because a relationship went wrong. I can be deeply disappointed in him, but I don't wish him bad things. If he needs me, I'll be there for him, as a friend," Neguesha had said. So it could well be that the couple are just good friends for now.
