If you have ran behind butterflies as a kid and the colourful, winged species continue to attract your attention, a trail to the Ovalekarwadi Butterfly garden in Thane, organised by the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), is something that you should not miss.

Watch hundreds of butterflies flitting around in this open-air butterfly garden that is home to more than 132 species of butterflies.

On a good day, one can spot Dark Blue Tiger, Common Rose, Blue Mormon, Common Jezebel, Blue Oakleaf, Gaudy Barron, Great Orange Tip and many more. BNHS has also planned out few other trails including one to the Nagla Block of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park on November 18.
