Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education (MBOSE) has been declared the MBOSE SSLC Result 2016 for class 10 students and Meghalaya Board HSSLC Arts Result 2016 for class 12 students today, 25th May 2016 at 10 AM. After the official announcement, students can check their MBOSE class 10th and 12th Results online on megresults.nic.in and mbose.in.
The Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education (MBOSE), Tura has started making all the necessary preparations for the declaration of Meghalaya Board Result 2016. If the latest reports are to be believed, the Meghalaya Board SSLC Result 2016 for class 10 students and MBOSE HSSLC Arts Result 2016 for class 12 students has been declared today, 25th May 2016 at 10 AM on MBOSE results official websites megresults.nic.in and mbose.in. Students can also check their results for Meghalaya Board class 10th and 12th for arts stream on meghalaya10.jagranjosh.com and meghalaya12.jagranjosh.com.

As per tentative reports, the MBOSE Tura Results will be published from the head office of the board in Tura, West Garo Hills through a press meet and result declaration function. Meghalaya State education minister Roytre Christopher Laloo and Shri. E. P. Kharbhih – the Executive Chairman of MOBSE are likely to do the honours of declaring the Meghalaya 10th Result 2016 and Meghalaya 12th Arts Result 2016 public.

Last year’s Meghalaya Board Results
Last year, the Meghalaya SSLC Result and MBOSE HSSLC Result for arts stream were announced on 25th May. A total of 42,807 students had appeared for their Meghalaya Secondary School Leaving Certificate Exam last year. Of the total number of examinees, 23,248 sailed through the exam, while 19,559 failed taking the overall pass percentage to 54.31%. In terms of gender rivalry, girls managed to score 83.38% compared to 73.86% of boys. East Khasi Hills emerged as the top performing district with 78.18% while the South Garo Hills was deemed as the worst performer with 22.67%.

On the other end of the spectrum, a total of 20,895 candidates had registered for Meghalaya Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Exam. Of the total number 14,235 qualified, which translates to 68.13% success ratio. Like SSLC Exam, girls edged past the boys in the MBOSE HSSLC Result with 81.62%. The pass percentage for boys was registered at 81.51%. In terms of district-wise performance, Ri Bhoi district emerged as the winner with 82.64% of students from the district clearing the exam. South West Garo Hills with 40.70% success ratio was termed as the worst performing district.
