MCA makes Vinoo Mankad's son run around for passes

Rahul Mankad, the only surviving son of the legendary Vinoo Mankad, told MiD DAY yesterday that he had to run from pillar to post for his passes for today's India vs WI Test at the Wankhede Stadium.

Rahul is eligible for a pass/passes since he is a former Mumbai Ranji player. “First, I was told that someone has collected the passes on my behalf. Then, a Mumbai Cricket Association official said that my name was not on the list. I tried to contact some officials but they were unreachable.

This is frustrating. There’s a big photograph of my father in the MCA office. Is this the way you treat us,” roared Rahul. One of the two most important gates at the Wankhede Stadium is named after Vinoo Mankad.
