Karnatak Sporting Association (KSA) made a winning start as they defeated Union Bank of India 1-0 in an Elite Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association League at the Cooperage ground yesterday.

Nigerian striker Michael Idewele scored the all-important goal in the 81st minute to help KSA win three points. Meanwhile, riding on Rushikesh Koli's brace, Bombay Muslims SC blanked Fr Agnel SC 3-0. Akash Dalvi netted the other goal for the victors.
