Miley Cyrus lands role on 'Two And A Half Men'
Singer-actress Miley Cyrus has landed a cameo on hit TV show 'Two And A Half Men'. Cyrus will play Missi, an old family friend of Walden played by Ashton Kutcher, who comes to visit for a week and develops a relationship with Jake played by Angus T Jones, reported MTV online.
The 19-year-old's appearance on 'Two And A Half Men' represents her most mature role yet. The singer, songwriter and actress made her name on the Disney channel, before releasing an album and providing the voice of Penny in the animated film Bolt.
Her latest incarnation as Missi is a more adult role, especially considering the sometimes risque themes conveyed on the show. Jones was surprised to hear about the Disney star's inclusion, but was equally happy with the impending situation.
"Honestly, they don't tell me anything about what the future shows are going to be. But if that's what's going to happen, it will be cool. I've met her a few times before and it would be fun to work with her," he said.
When asked about the romantic nuance to Cyrus's cameo, he said, "Whatever it's going to be, it's going to be interesting." The dates for the episodes are yet to be announced but the new season starts September 27.
