Muzaffarnagar: A 40-year-old milk vendor was shot dead by some unknown assailants near Khrad village under Phugana police station in the district, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when Shokender was shot dead while he was on his way to collect milk from Khrad village, they said.

The body has been sent for postmortem, they added. Police have registered a case against the unidentified miscreants.
In another incident, a history-sheeter Faizan was shot dead by two miscreants in Kidwai Nagar area here yesterday.
Police said that he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
