England striker Raheem Sterling can't seem to do anything right for the British media. After being hauled up for his lavish ways after England’s Euro 2016 exit, he is now being pulled up for boarding a cheap flight with girlfriend Paije Milian while returning from Spanish holiday

The striker, who signed for Manchester City in a £49m deal last year and earns £200,000 a week in the English Premier League, but was pictured on an £80 flight from Malaga to Manchester on October 10.
He was made the scapegoat for England’s poor show at Euro 2016, he then put in some good performances for Manchester City before he was forced to pull out of the England squad for their World Cup qualifiers with Malta and Slovenia due to a calf injury. With permission from his club, he then headed off on holiday to Spain with his 20-year-old girlfriend Paige Milian and even posted numerous pictures on social media of his recovery-cum-holiday trip.
However, on Sunday he was pulled up by the British media for boarding a cheap, £85 (R8500) flight from Malaga to Manchester, despite earning a whopping £200,000 (R1.6 crore) per week from his employers, Man City. This, after a £49 million (R399 crore) switch from Liverpoool to Manc City last year.

The 21-year-old, who was once pulled up by British tabloid The Sun for flaunting his millions after England’s shocking Euro 2016 defeat to Iceland, was yesterday ‘exposed’ for riding a budget airline with his girlfriend.
In one of the pictures published by the newspaper, Sterling is seen getting up from his cattle class isle seat to let another passenger board his window seat.
