This was Pakistan's first ever Champions Trophy title since their 2009 World Twenty20 win. India-Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy final was held on June 18 at The Oval in London.

Pakistan claimed their third ICC tournament title, having earlier won the 50-over World Cup in 1992 and the World Twenty20 in 2009.
