A heated argument pushed RPSF constable Shivram Sharma to pump bullets into colleague yesterday
Mujhe woh jeene nahin de raha tha, isiliye maine use maar diya. This is all Shivram Sharma (47), the Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) constable, who shot his colleague yesterday, told his seniors.
Fit of rage
At around 10.45 am yesterday, Sharma, who was on guard duty at the RPSF barracks near Bandra Terminus, left work midway and stormed into the nearby mess armed with an Insas rifle.
On stepping into the mess, he fired seven rounds at his colleague Udhal Singh (50), who was about to start his breakfast.

While the motive behind the murder is unclear, sources from the RPF claim that the two got into a heated argument over the breakfast table, informed sources.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0

Both Singh and Sharma belonged to the 12th battalion of the RPF and were based at Bandra Terminus barracks.

While Singh was on night duty, Sharma was on day duty and was about to leave for work when the incident occurred.
After firing at Singh, Sharma walked back to his post at the barrack. Informed about the shooting by another RPSF constable Ravindar Kamble, the Company Commander rushed to the mess.
Shivram was questioned, but kept mum throughout the interrogation after saying that he shot Singh because he was making life hell for him.
As his superiors disarmed him there was no remorse on his face, inform sources.
Sharma hailed from Bharatpur, Rajasthan and Singh is a native of Mathura.u00a0u00a0
