Officials of the Santacruz police station have registered an FIR and are on the look out for the C-grade filmmaker Kanti Shah. The case was filed by the leading lady of one of his films, who accused Shah of circulating a video clip by morphing her face on someone else’s nude body.

The actress claimed that she came to know about the clip after one of her friends informed her about it. She claimed that the original clip shot by Shah was supposed to be used as the promotional material for the film Haunted Jungle.
Police officials said the complaint was lodged against Shah five days ago, wherein the actress claimed that she had been receiving lewd calls ever since the clip went viral, which caused mental trauma besides tarnishing her image. The case has been forwarded to the Cyber Crime Cell, which will investigate and trace the origin of the video clip.
