A television actress who was pushed into the flesh trade was rescued by the Malad police after a tip off. As per reports by the Times of India, a pimp and customer were arrested.

The arrest was made on Goregaon Link Road based on a tip off and the police said that the customer was contacted through Whatsapp. One of the men arrested is believed to have a production company in Malad and the police are currently investigating to find out if there was any connection between the production company and prostitution.
A magistrate’s court has sent the accused to police custody for two days.
