Hither 'n' slither
Morning walkers at Juhu Beach were in for a surprise yesterday, as there was a snake spotted on the beach. Those enjoying their Sunday morn in the water came rushing out as the snake slithered from the water onto the shore.

D Bunty Rao, a lifeguard at the beach says, “At around 9 am, we were alerted by the public about the snake, near Tulip Star hotel. During the monsoon, snakes do frequent the beach and we have now become experts at catching them. We do not know if the snake was poisonous or not.”

The Baywatch Lifeguards Association that patrols the beach swiftly got to work and caught the snake who was tired after battling the waves. The snake was caught and put in a box and later left at Juhu Garden. We call it Juhu Beach's tryst with hiss-tory.
