A major fire was reported at Parmar house, Mamledar wadi, Malad West in the late evening. The Mumbai fire brigade declared fire level 3 on a scale of 1 to 5.



As per the preliminary information, the Mumbai fire brigade officials received a call at around 8 pm. The fire brigade team reached the spot after half an hour. The fire was confined to the stock of plastic material in an area about 2000 sq feet in the closed godown. The structure is a ground plus three floors. Four small lines of a fire engine and one high-pressure line are in operation. One ambulance is on the spot.


The Fire brigade officials declared level 3 of fire at 9.50 pm. The fire fighting operation is still underway.
