Harris Shield: Kaushal scores ton for Sule Guruji in drawn game against Anjuman

IES VN Sule Guruji's (Dadar) Kaushal Valsangkar's ton went in vain as the Harris Shield Elite Group third-round match against Anjuman-I-Islam (Urdu) at Bombay Gymkhana ended in a draw  yesterday.

Anjuman couldn't chase the target of 397 during the two-day game. The Dadar school declared their first innings at 396-9 in 28.1 overs, with Kaushal scoring 128 off 252 balls, which included 15 fours, before being given out lbw to Yogendra Awasthi on Day One. Kaushal was ably supported by Rugved More (73), Aayush Zimare (66) and Vaibhav Kamble (52).

Anjuman-I-Islam's medium pacer Shadab Shafique Usmani claimed 3-94. Yesterday Anjuman-I-Islam ended up with 175-5 in 47 overs. Shreyas Ubale top scored for Anjuman with 80.
