Mumbai took an overall lead of 252 runs against Madhya Pradesh in a Group A Ranji Trophy match at the Holkar Stadium here yesterday

In reply to Mumbai’s 304 in the first innings, the hosts were all out for 244. The visitors were 192 for five in the second essay, thanks to Wasim Jaffer (67) and Aditya Tare (42).u00a0

Resuming the day at 191 for five, Madhya Pradesh lost their last five wickets for only 46 runs. Overnight batsman Satyam Chowdhury could only add three runs to his last night’s tally of 73 before being dismissed by Mumbai captain Ajit Agarkar.
