Young Boys’ goalkeeper Uzair Ansari affected two saves to help the Madanpura outfit enter the final of the first division Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) League.
After a goalless draw, Uzair made two superb saves in the tie-breaker against Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana, Santacruz to win the first semi-final 4-2 at St Xavier’s ground, Parel.

In the second semi-final, goalkeeper Vinay Singh proved equally proficient under the bar to help Springfield, Vashi rally from a first half deficit to overcome St Sebastian, Chembur 4-1 via the penalty shootout.
