Mumbai: Municipal school students bring laurels to schools

Eight municipal school students have brought laurels to their schools by winning three gold, two silver and three copper medals in a state level boxing championship organised in Bhandara city in the Nagpur Division

Eight municipal school students have brought laurels to their schools by winning three gold, two silver and three copper medals in a state level boxing championship organised in Bhandara city in the Nagpur Division.



The three gold medalists, Shivam Vishwakarma, Vinay Vishwakarma and Aman Yadav have now qualified to participate at the national level boxing championship to be organised soon. Shivam Vishwakarma also won the award of best boxing champion.

These students belong to Kandivali's R.R.P Municipal Corporation school, Akurli Road Municipal Corporation school, Byculla's Madanpura Urdu Medium School, Govandi's Shivaji nagar Municipal Corporation School.

The BMC will provide boxing gear to the participants of the national level boxing championship.
