A fire broke out on the ninth floor of Mukesh Ambani's house Antilia on Altmount Road yesterday night. The fire, which started from the garden area around 9 pm, was doused by residents with the help of the building's fire-fighting equipment, within 20 minutes.


A fire brigade official said, "We sent three fire engines and a water tanker to the spot. But by the time our team reached the spot, the residents had doused the flames. They also disconnected the building's power supply as a precautionary measure. No one was injured."


Another official said, "Since it's a high-rise, we sent the brigade's 90-m snorkel."

Rashmi Karandikar, DCPâÂu00c2u0080Âu00c2u0088(operations), said, "The fire broke out on the ninth floor. of Antilia. The police and fire brigade reached the spot immediately."
