One of the star attraction of the Tiger safari at Sanjay Gandhi National Park, 14 year old Royal Bengal tiger Palash- passed away on wee hours of Tuesday after a brief illness


Confirming the same, a senior official from SGNP said, "The tiger was suffering from acute renal failure and his condition was very critical since yesterday. The tiger died at around 3 am on wee hours of Tuesday."


The 14-year old famous Royal Bengal Tiger Palash, who has been one of the start attractions of the Tiger safari at SGNP was ill since a long time and then succumbed to it.


Palash and his mate Basanti gave birth to Anand, Yash and Laxmi who are at the SGNP.
