“I am really excited to have been selected for the Gloucestershire second XI. It’s a golden opportunity for me, as the standard of the second XI is also quite good,” said the 14-year-old.u00a0Shaw had a successful stint in Manchester last year where he scored 1500 runs at an average of 85.00 and claimed 65 wickets. “Instead of scoring hundreds in school cricket, I would prefer scoring quality half-centuries against better attacks,” said the Santacruz resident.
