Mumbai Tigers had a lucky escape as they beat PIFA Colaba 3-2 during their quarter-final match of the Kalina MLA Cup at the Air India Colony ground, Santacruz yesterday.

PIFA surged into a shock lead in eighth minute when Elvis Ozowaga scored through a neat finish. Three minutes later, Mumbai Tigers’ goalkeeper Rehenesh TP mistimed his kick which went straight to Zeeshan Shaikh and the youngster brilliantly lobbed over the ’keeper to double the lead.
