The traffic on the arterial south-bound stretch of the Western Express Highway was badly affected on Wednesday morning between Malad flyover and Oberoi mall flyover due to oil spill

The traffic on the arterial south-bound stretch of the Western Express Highway was badly affected on Wednesday morning between Malad flyover and Oberoi mall flyover due to oil spill.


According to a traffic police official from the main traffic control team, “At around 7.45- 8 am, there was an incident of oil spill that took place and a biker skidded because of the same. The oil spill happened between the flyover in Malad and Oberoi flyover on WEH, after which the fire brigade immediately reached the spot and the problem has been solved.”


The traffic on the south-bound stretch of WEH between the two flyover was moving at snails pace between 8 to 10 am, but after 10 am the traffic started moving at a normal pace.
