Music composer Aadesh Shrivastava has been hospitalised since last 41 days in Mumbai-s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Andheri for cancer treatment. Aadesh had made successful recovery from cancer five years ago; however, the cancer has relapsed. He is said to be in a critical condition at the moment.

Aadesh-s brother-in-law and composer Lalit Pandit from Jatin-Lalit duo says, "Aadesh is in hospital since last 41 days. He is right now in critical condition. The doctors are trying all they can and Aadesh too is fighting. Please pray for him."
Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar tweeted about his ill health and prayed for his speedy recovery.
"Mujhe aaj pata chala ki Sangeetkar Aadesh Shrivastava ji ki tabiyat kharab hai.Main unki acchi sehat ke liye ishwar se prarthana karti hun," read her tweet.
Aadesh Shrivastava has composed music for films like -Chalte Chalte-, -Baabul- and -Baghban-.
