The Internationale Funkausstellung, Berlin (IFA) or Berlin Radio Show is a few days away, but the tech world is already abuzz with rumours of new launches, especially two smart watches from Sony and Samsung.
Samsung will launch the Samsung Galaxy Gear, a smart watch, but unlike what was rumoured earlier, it won’t come with a flexible screen.

Joining in the smart watch bandwagon, is Sony’s SmartWatch2, which is expected to be available at stores globally by September. As far as smart phones go, Samsung will launch the much-awaited Galaxy Note III. According to some of the leaks made available on Twitter, the Note III is expected to feature a 2.3GHz Quad-Core processor, 2.5GB RAM and a 5.7-inch screen, with a screen resolution of 1080x1920. But the biggest launch is likely to the Sony’s Xperia Z1 from Sony, a waterproof smart phone.
LG announced that it will launch a more manageable tablet, G Pad, an 8.3-inch tablet powered by 1.7GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The screen resolution is 1920x1200 pixels but it offers a low density of 273 ppi. Watch this space for more details.u00a0
